On January 20 of 2010 the first British university – University of Management and Design – opened its doors to the public. Organizational support of the event was provided by Flexi Communications

The formal opening ceremony held at the A.Maldybaev Opera and Ballet Theatre was attended by over 800 guests. The invitees were able to enjoy a classical concert “Music without boundaries” performed by the Chui Chamber Orchestra.
